PURPOSE


The Marketing Journey Manager, Security, Fraud & Self-Serve is responsible for driving and managing the fraud and security end-to-end customer journey to protect Clients banking experiences.

Working collaboratively with the Director, Marketing Journey Management as well as channel and platform owners throughout the full marketing funnel, the Manager will develop a Client Centric approach to all matters relating to fraud, security and self-serve banking experiences including the communication strategy and roadmap to define and shape the customer experience and journey.

Leveraging data, research and sophisticated analytic insights the Manager will define and deliver an integrated go-to-market approach, optimizing across earned, owned and paid channels to contribute to the organizations financial and non-financial objectives.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partners with Director, Marketing Journey Management and stakeholders across the organization, acting as the 'glue' between different functions and departments to support the development of communication journeybased customer marketing for fraud and security inclusive of the Client life cycle banking experience from acquisition, onboarding, digital adoption and ongoing banking engagement; Defines and drives endtoend marketing plans and campaigns across external and internal channels.
  • Supports the development of the overall campaign roadmap, and works with channel and platform owners to build channel specific campaigns, forecasts and key performance indicators. Continuously evaluates & optimizes plan across channels, and tests new channels, strategies and tactics. Monitors and shares performance and develops action plans to bridge any gaps.
  • Partner crossfunctionally within Marketing, Client experience, customer insights, product management, contact centers, etc. to effectively execute sound fraud and security protectives practices and enhancements focused communications and analyze their success
  • Manages forecasts and performance updates for campaigns and respective KPIs reviewing all performance reports and actioning key learnings and insights regularly
  • Manages assigned budget, providing monthly reporting to finance
  • Collaborate with channel and function leads including media, creative, content, development teams, analytics and others
  • Develop and initiate campaign/communication briefs, experiment with a wide array of everchanging digital and traditional mediums and develop methods to understand and improve communication effectiveness
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies to generate results based on solid analysis including Client behavior, purchase propensity, channel optimization, profiling & segmentation to drive message relevance.
  • Develop forecasts, determine marketing budgets (communications and production) to achieve targets; monitor/share performance and reconcile budgets regularly, and build action plans to address gaps as required
  • Ensure Tangerine remains in compliance, and is aware of all banking/regulatory requirements, amendments and responsibilities.
  • Establish trusted collaborative working relationships with other members of the Tangerine Marketing Team
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education/Experience
  • University Degree in Marketing, Advertising and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • MBA from a leading institution is highly desirable
  • Minimum 57 years of marketing experience in demanding digitaloriented Tier1 organizations (e.g. Telco, Banking, Retail, Technology, etc.)
  • Minimum 12 years of fraud and security experience
  • Minimum 57 years of strategic digital marketing experience leading in an agile/quick to market environment is an asset
  • Relevant Everyday Banking /Investments/Wealth and/or credit card marketing experience would be an asset
