What will you do?
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for all aspects of the shipping and receiving operations.

They will work closely with all members of the PUR warehouse team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and sent out promptly, shipments are received accurately, and the warehouse maintains a cleanly and safe environment.

The lead will work closely with the warehouse manager, assisting in the co-ordination of production and delivery schedules.

This individual is expected to be a fully certified forklift driver with a valid license and advocate for health and safety.


The role in more details:


  • Effectively and safely lead the daytoday warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, shipping, receiving
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift and power pallet jack to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
  • Unloading inbound trucks and checking material against the packing slip
  • Reporting damaged or defective product
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Pick and pack orders daily for shipping.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment to ensure that it is always safe and accessible.
  • Assist in inventory monthly and annual inventory counts
  • Creates and maintains a safe workplace for all employees, and proactively manages issues and/or resolves problems with a sense of urgency
  • Comply with all ESA and OHSA regulations to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
  • Ensure daily delivery deadlines and production objectives are met
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Overtime work and weekend shifts may be required on a notice basis.

What you have to do to get here:

  • 3+ years of experience in operating a counterbalance forklift and maintaining a valid forklift license
  • Relevant experience in a warehouse environment, particularly leading shipping and receiving functions
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movement including but not limited to, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting twisting, bending etc.
  • Experience collaborating with various areas within an organization and with all levels of team members
  • Fluency in English with highly effective and clear communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced work environment of shifting priorities
  • Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and selfmotivated
