Role Description
The Vice President, Finance reports to the Managing Director and serves as a key member of the leadership team. This role provides enterprise financial leadership while contributing meaningfully to corporate strategy, organizational scaling, and long-term growth. Blending financial stewardship with forward-looking strategic insight, the VP, Finance will oversee core finance functions across 14 corporate entities while supporting development execution and broader business performance.
Key Accountabilities
Enterprise Financial Leadership
- Oversee financial reporting, audit, tax compliance, treasury, and internal controls
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Drive enterprise performance reporting and KPI visibility
Corporate Strategy & Business Performance
- Partner with executive leadership to shape growth strategy and define key business priorities, including leading business development initiatives on behalf of RCG
- Translate financial results into actionable strategic insights
- Support evaluation of new initiatives, partnerships, and corporate opportunities
Capital Planning & Corporate Finance
- Collaborate with Acquisitions & Development on financing strategy and lead banking relationships
- Provide forward-looking analysis on liquidity, cash flow, and enterprise risk
- Lead corporate structuring and long-term financial strategy
Process & Team Leadership
- Lead the Corporate Accounting and Administration team, including HR & IT support for the organization
- Strengthen financial systems, reporting tools, and scalable processes
- Build finance capabilities aligned with organizational growth
Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
- Experience in real estate development, construction, or project-based environments required
- Strong background in corporate finance, project finance, and enterprise financial leadership
- Experience working with lenders, advisors, and auditors
Compensation & Work Environment
- Base salary range: $200,000 – $230,000 plus annual performance bonus and future equity opportunity
- Hybrid work model based in Richmond, BC (3–4 days in office)
