Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction is the government's solution provider and supports the significant events in Albertans' lives, like having a child, getting married, mourning the loss of a loved one, getting a driver's licence or buying a home.


Our ministry is responsible for:
- protecting consumers in an increasingly complex economic environment
- overseeing registry activities, like vehicle, business, and land registrations
- cutting red tape by one-third to reduce costs, speed up approvals, and make life easier for hard-working Albertans and businesses.

Print Services supervisors are responsible for supervising a fast-paced manufacturing environment delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for daily scheduled critical printing and mechanical and manual envelope inserting within the negotiated service levels.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position are:


  • Responsible for workforce planning by aligning individual performance expectations with Print Services goals, through overseeing employee performance, providing guidance and support, identifying development needs, provide training and support within established processes and procedures to employees enabling them to effectively complete their duties.
  • Oversees the daytoday operations, providing leadership and direction to employees to enable the efficient delivery of services on behalf of our clients.
  • Monitor customer Service Level Agreements in accordance with client's expectation which includes legislated timelines. Accountable for quality, data security, integrity of printed and inserted products.
  • Responsible to investigate and report incidents and privacy breaches, from initiation to implementation of corrective actions.
  • Conducting ongoing gap analysis to identify potential production risks.
  • Daily reconciliation of all completed work prior to Canada Post induction.
  • Preparing monthly billing including ondemand printing and postage costs.
  • Responsible for materials and inventory management, including ordering, product inventory, and verification, processing invoices for payment.

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements Standard:

MRS


Two-year diploma in a related field plus five years progressively responsible related experience; Including a minimum of 3 years supervisory role in a related environment.


Or equivalent as described:

directly related experience or education considered on the basis of one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.


  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a high volume, fast paced, warehouse, print and mail insertion/mail services environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organization skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to train, coach and mentor employees.
  • Exceptional team building skills to maintain and enhance strong and effective
