We complete our repairs and maintenance in-house and are looking for someone who is handy and likes to be on the tools to join us as a
Commercial Maintenance Technician.

At Meadowbrook Business Campus, we offer move-in ready and customized space and need a Commercial Maintenance Technician to assist us with general construction, renovations, and upgrades.

Working with the onsite maintenance and property management team, the Commercial Maintenance Technician also completes general repairs, ongoing maintenance, and upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.

Opportunity to join an experienced and skilled team with a technician, lead hand, construction manager, and onsite property management team.

RESPONSIBILITES

Perform maintenance and repairs
Perform renovations eg. drywall and tile repairs, taping, painting, carpentry, replacement of door locks, and demolition
Operate heavy equipment including forklift and telehandler
Carry out outdoor facilities repairs and upgrades
Maintain shop and vehicles
Transport ordered materials and supplies and maintain inventory of items in stock
Assist with preventative maintenance
Participate in oncall rotation schedule (evenings and weekend)
Ensure a safe and clean work environment

REQUIREMENTS

35 years of experience in building maintenance, construction or related field
Experience using hand and power tools
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask
Valid G driver's license and driver's abstract check
Computer and smartphone proficiency
Punctual, detailoriented, and courteous manners with the public
