***: The Financial Analyst II is responsible for performing finance-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior financial management.

This position consists of various responsibilities in the following areas:
performing financial analysis, management reporting, forecasting, asset management, reporting, and modeling. This position reports to the Director of Finance.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Financial Analyst II is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial and business operational data, prepare financial reports and projections, including departmental and service line financials
  • Identify, maintain and evaluate key performance indicators to drive business strategy
  • Create and update financial models
  • Collaborate with team leads on ad hoc analyses for business investment cases and GTM operations
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly accounting close processes
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor or Diploma degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or other related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, corporate finance, or other related fields
  • Experience building and maintaining financial models
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting and financial analysis
  • Understanding of intercompany and foreign currency translations
  • Desire to work in a fastpaced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills, and logical thinking; ability to interpret and communicate numbers to executives
  • Strong software and system skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Proactive, selfstarter with a passion for problemsolving
  • Organized, and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language to succeed in a remote work environment
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and expectations of customers

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

  • Experience working in a technology startup
  • Experience working with multilocation, international engineering operations
  • Familiarity with data analytics or database management
