The Role


This position will not only provide exposure and hands-on responsibilities within the finance team, but you'll also gain valuable insight on business operations while working in a stimulating and supportive environment.

Your work will vary from week to week, and will include a variety of finance tasks including:

  • Answer customer and vendor inquires and calls for follow up
  • Work with new clients and vendors to accurately onboard them as a client
  • Create, issue, and follow up directly on invoices
  • Administer full cycle accounts receivable and payable
  • Process and audit banking
  • Store, update, retrieve and analyze financial data including balance sheet analysis
  • Process payments (i.e. scan cheques, enter appropriate records)
  • Conduct audits including yearend, subledger, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Serve as a support/back up for all things accounting and administrative as requested
Depending on the time of the year, you may be doing a variety of tasks. Flexibility and a knack for multitasking are critical to the success of this position.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience using QuickBooks.
  • Speak read and write English fluently
  • Highly professional, polite, and polished with a positive attitude
  • 2 years accounting related experience within a business environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize & accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
  • Strong written communication skills
