You develop the strategic plans on in-store execution and then deploy our "Perfect" initiatives so we can grow top-line sales and bottom-line margin while delivering stunning visibility in-store with consistently best-in-class display solutions.

You also lead the annual budgeting process for Point of Sale, be the key point of contact with US and Global perfect store teams responsible for Availability and Visibility pillars of our growth agenda.


Perfect Store Lead will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing the initiatives to maximize Brand's presence at the Point of Sale, drive shopper engagement, ensuring agreed plans are executed brilliantly to achieve Mondelez Canadian Business and Brand Objectives.

These will include both temporary and permanent displays, In addition, the Perfect Store lead will manage 1 or more direct reports everyday and provide coaching and development for them on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to performance reviews.


How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work with the Field Sales & Instore excellence lead and the customer strategy and sales planning teams to develop future strategies for instore excellence
  • Lead and build effectiveness of the permanent & temporary empty displays, POS (online) catalogue/website through continuous improvement
  • Colead the prepack and display pallet development across all retail environments working closely with sales planning counterparts
  • Colead the "picture of success" plan by retail environment to be executed in store working with field sales regional leaders.
  • Support global POS online platform with key stakeholders to leverage the global scale benefit
  • Drive harmonization & modularization with the commercial team on an ongoing basis
  • Manage supplier relationships in area of development, cascading of communication and governance and negotiate pricing on projects
  • Translate deep shopper understanding into robust and meaningful instore solutions that meet key business objectives using our 4C process
  • Develop and Execute the POS Full Year Category and Brand Activation Plan (Promo, NPDs, Events) to drive Shopper Engagement in coordination with Marketing, Trade and Sales.
  • Enable best in class implementation of instore brand activation and point of sale Innovation along working with field sales leaders
  • Act as the main point of contact with the field force coordinating the plan execution, developing, and implementing efficient procedures and solving possible incidences
  • Manage a Perfect Store Associate Manager and other project based personnel (as assigned from time to time)

More about this role
University Degree.
Demonstrated working experience > Category Planning, Trade Marketing and Sales / Commercial required
Knowledge of AC Nielsen required and Sales Data Bases an advantage

Drive for results skills:

Analytical skills and Customer Oriented:
able to build selling stories based on market and customer situation

Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in FMCG/CPG; Marketing and/or Sales (Category Planning, Trade Marketing, Account Management, POS Management).

3-5 Years' experience in handling Merchandising (In-store Visibility) & Instore Activation across channels.
Demonstrated work experience in a high matrix organization.
Multiple cross functional stakeholder management

Customer / channel reviews:
Monitor KPI's to ensure Health & Performance
Sales & Marketing planning briefings & business reviews
Capability & training / development programs on Perfect Store
