Business Management Analyst, Payments Centre of Excellence, Global Business Payments - Scarborough, ON
Purpose
Is this role right for you? In this position you'll be:
- Program Strategy
- Support the Payments Systems Resiliency Programs, and associated governance framework, and operating model. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in defining contingency processes and procedures, Operational Resiliency, establishing playbooks and SOPs and coordination of test exercises.
- Project Execution
- Collaborate with members of Payments COE to execute various workstreams of a project, the type of deliverable includes documenting current state and future state process flows, perform analysis of data patterns to draw actionable insights, and prepare slides for presentation to project stakeholders including working groups and management teams.
- Business Administration and Governance
- Support members of Payments COE to track BAU processes, project deadlines, and audit deliverables. Ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner; i.
e:
reporting, attestations, committee material submissions. Coordinate business case, budget planning and reporting, procurement processes with internal stakeholders and vendors. The incumbent will serve as the single point of contact for financial and procurement activities.
- Program Management
- Within a strategic and high performing team / lab environment, the incumbent will provide support to drive various initiatives that contribute to continuous improvements in payment operations, ensuring focus on achieving business value and enhancing functionality that improves payment product performance, operational efficiency, while meeting compliance and regulatory requirements
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 3+ years experience of professional and relevant experience in any sector (not limited to banking)
- A broad understanding of payments products, policies and the regulatory environment
- Working knowledge of the effect that change or new products, systems and regulatory requirements will have on existing operations and client offerings
- Excellent written & oral communication skills are required to deliver strong business focused plans and presentations
- Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problemsolving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to rapid modernization in the payments industry
- Results oriented and innovative in identifying and pursuing opportunities to leverage capabilities to increase revenues, decrease costs and mitigate risks
- University Degree or College Diploma
- Strong working knowledge in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio
- SQL, VBA programming, or lean / six sigma training are considered an asset
