- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to facilitate precise setups.
- Capability to utilize precise measuring instruments like radius gauges, verniers, and height stands for verifying product conformity with specified shapes, dimensions, and other requirements.
- Competence in setting up machines according to job specifications, including the use of fixtures, backstop adjustments, ram adjustments, etc.
- Ability to make necessary adjustments to programs and tooling to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Skill in loading/unloading tooling and setting up equipment.
- Strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language.
- Capacity to train and mentor both new and existing staff within the department.
- Proficiency in mathematics.
- Additional related duties
- High School Diploma with proficiency in mathematics and mechanical drawing skills.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with forklift operation and familiarity with jib/overhead cranes is asset.
- Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal & written
