Corporate Summer Intern (Paid)

Your day-to-day in this role:

Reviewing corporate minute books;
Identifying deficiencies in corporate minute books;
Searching and comparing corporate records to the government records;
Describing discrepancies and deficiencies concisely and accurately; and
Other clerking or clerical support tasks as required.

What we would like to see from you:

Enrollment in or completion of a legal assistant or law clerk program, or equivalent working experience, is required;
An excellent attention to detail is required to identify and record deficiencies;
Superior organization and task prioritization skills are required to organize minute books;
Strong English writing and reading comprehension skills are required;
The ability to reason independently and make judgements on client files is required;
The ability to work closely with others in a team environment is required;
A familiarity with the MS Office Suite, document management systems and legal accounting software (i.e., PC Law or Soluno) would be an asset; and
The ability and availability to commute to the office 5 days a week is required.

This opportunity is a full-time contract with a negotiable end date between September 1st to 15th. This opportunity offers a wage of $20 per hour.
