TheDean develops strategies to meet the current and future needs of polytechniceducation and applied research by identifying and forecasting current andemerging needs, ensuring the School of Energy and Natural Resources is globally competitive,recognized, and strategically networked.
Alongwith leading the Schoolof Energy and Natural Resources to success, the Dean also serves assenior member of the NAIT Academic Leadership Team, which contributes to theoverall leadership of the Institute through participation in the development ofacademic and business plans, financial plans, and performance objectives.
TheDean ensures the School is responsive to the needs of industry, and studentsthrough achievement of the following key accountabilities:
