Description
Carleton Environmental Services (CES) is looking for
DZ
Service Technicians to join our team. CES is a family owned and operated business located in rural South Ottawa.

We have proudly been serving the community, providing expert and trustworthy waste management and sanitation services to Ottawa and surrounding areas since 1957.

Our waste management services include commercial and residential septic pumping services, portable toilet rentals, and grease trap servicing and maintenance.

The CES team is customer service focused and committed to providing timely, superior services and products for our clients.

DZ Service Technicians will be responsible for safely operating a vacuum truck, performing circle checks and filling out daily vehicle inspection reports, completing service calls, servicing septic and holding tanks, cleaning effluent filters, installing septic risers, completing minor septic repairs, and filling out waste manifest documents. Our DZ Service Technicians are the face of the CES septic division; they must be respectful, tidy, ensure quality service standards, and proactively address customer concerns. DZ Service Technicians will begin and end their day at our Yard; however, their work day will involve traveling between septic calls, communicating with customers, locating and lifting septic lids, pulling hoses from the truck to the tanks, safely operating a vacuum pump to empty waste from tanks, and manifesting waste at the disposal facility,

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a heavy class driver and able to drive manual transmission.
  • Must have reliable transport to attend work.

  • Must be able to take direction and follow company policies / procedures.
  • Experience in customer service environment would be an asset.
