Start Date:
June - Sept 15 (Summer Season with option to return in Winter Season)

Join the FUN Cypress Mountain team as a Shuttle Bus driver and have a great time on the mountain
this summer We are looking for FT and PT reliable drivers to transport our Team via bus, from
designated locations, to/from the mountain. This flexible position's responsibilities include pre-trip
checks, driving of the shuttle bus, and overall satisfaction of shuttle passengers while operating 7
days/week, depending on coaster operations. If you are punctual and have outstanding guest service
skills we want to hear from you


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following)
:
Perform pre & post trip bus inspections.

Basic equipment maintenance.

Identification and communication of maintenance needs.

Adhere to safe work procedures, operating procedures and safe work practices.

Operate a 20-passenger bus.

Greet passengers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.

Assist passengers with loading/unloading as needed.

Follow designated routes and schedules.

Ensure timely and efficient transportation services.

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, millage or any incident or accidents.

Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Other work as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS/


COMPETENCIES:

Guest service oriented.

Excellent communication skills - in person and over the radio.

Ability to multi-task.

Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.

Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment.

Excellent driving skills.

Attention to detail.

Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Physical stamina.

Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.

Must be able to work flexible shifts (we are open weekends and holidays over the summer).


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,


REGISTRATIONS:

Must be able to legally work in Canada.

Valid B.C. driver's license Class 4 unrestricted or Class 1 and/or Class 2.

Clean driver's abstract.

Insured and reliable vehicle to get to/from the mountain.
