Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Insight Health Solutions, the Lead, Business Development, is an integral member of the Insight Health Solutions Program's team.


Note:

  • This is a temporary 12 month minimum, up to 18month contract
  • Frequent travel mostly in southern Ontario is a job requirement and access to a reliable automobile is required

Responsibilities:


  • Work with the Insight leadership team, integration manager & operational teams, and any external applicable vendors in the development of targeted sales & strategies that increase the organization's revenues and expand into existing and new sectors.
  • Strategizes, codevelops and coleads a comprehensive servicewide sales plan to achieve business development goals and objectives with clear measurable targets, supporting initiatives with metrics and risks and risk mitigation actions
  • Communicate on the progress to target completion, risks and mitigating factors to senior leadership
  • Responsible for responding to bids and the generation of proposals in collaboration with internal leaders on sales strategy, content, resourcing, and pricing
  • Works closely with the operations team and an integration leader to ensure smooth handoff of new business to operations.
  • Actively creates brand awareness through organizing and participating in leadgeneration activity including trade shows, community education, and marketing campaigns as appropriate
  • Remains current with technical advancements & networks with peers for benchmarking, partnerships/business opportunities, best practices and, problemsolving
  • Develops and leverages networks and relationships to build strong relationships and stay close to industry change

Qualifications:


  • Baccalaureate degree in Business or Health related field required;
  • Master's degree or current registration in a Graduate program preferred (e.g. Business Administration, Health Administration, Leadership) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten years (10) of relevant third party sales and business development relevant industry experience (disability management, insurance, rehabilitation etc.)
  • A high achiever with an exceptional track record of success in sales and is recognized for their leadership, negotiation skills and handling of complex business challenges
  • Aptitude for thriving in a rapidly changing business environment and known for driving high impact change to ensure sales team engagement, efficiency and exceptional customer experience
  • Known to proactively bring forward ideas, using data to support decisions and recommendations thoroughly, quickly and decisively
  • A sales closer who constantly overachieves targets; Adopts an advisory approach to interacting at customer senior levels; Able to bring strong business judgment and resources to bear on solution development and successfully concluding of the sale
  • Ability to drive and achieve results in a systematic and coordinated manner
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a complex and fastpaced environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • An effective team player (integration, operations, partnerships) team builder, overseer and leader
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills
  • Able to work well independently
