Title of Position:
Replacement Professor in Mathematics and Analytics at the rank of Assistant Professor. The incumbent will teach courses primarily in French.

Terms:
Non-Tenure-track position for a two-year term.


Duties:


Teaching activities:

  • Coordinate and teach the introductory mathematics courses: ADM 1305/1705 as well as additional core or elective analytics courses.
  • Help support and update the content and learning objectives of 1305/1705 based on the curricular needs of the core and options of the BCom.

Research activities:

  • Regularly engage in pedagogical research projects and contribute to scholarship of teaching and learning.
  • Bring pedagogical innovations in mathematics to the classrooms.

Academic service activities:

Requirements:

  • Language: Bilingual (French and English). The faculty member will teach primarily in French (at least 70%).
  • Experience in teaching introductory university mathematics to first-year students.-
  • Ability to teach more advanced mathematics courses in forecasting, simulation, and optimization
  • Salary and Benefits Package:
