Description
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager & General Manager, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the building and grounds in good operating condition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow a preventative maintenance program for the building and on site equipment
- General repairs to buildings, equipment and furnishings
- Maintain grounds
- Minor Suite Refurbishments (i.e Drywall Repair, Painting, Carpet Cleaning)
- Working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with troubleshooting and performing repairs
- 2+ years experience working in a maintenance role in a Retirement Community or Hotel setting is an asset
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, cooperate with others and problem solve
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Job Types:

From $18.00 per hour
