Transaction Banking - Specialist (15 MONTH CONTRACT)Job Summary:
Transaction Banking products and services help companies improve business efficiency and optimize short-term liquidity by shortening the working capital cycle.
Primary Accountabilities:
Client Support and Maintenance:
- Support the client to maintain their client profile upon request with timeliness and accuracy
- Update internal trackers to record and document client interactions and requests
- Conduct monthly procedures for reporting to internal stakeholders
- Ensure efficient crosscollaboration when working with multiple departments to support a client
- Monitor transactions and oversee account activity to uphold agreement and control
- Resolve issues and problems raised by the client in timely manner to maintain bank reputation and meet client expectations
- Demonstrate resourcefulness by resolving issues though usage of various resources and appropriate escalations
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to provide seamless and consistent support to clients
Service Implementation:
- Assist Sales team with gathering information to prepare necessary paperwork for the service enrollments.
- Support the client with questions regarding the product capabilities and requirements in a timely manner
- Implement services and ensure lead time is in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Coordinate with the client with initial setup and provide training upon request to ensure client is ready and prepared to utilize the services
- Maintain respective client folders and uphold internal controls relating to document retention and storage
On-boarding and Sales Support:
- Support Sales with preparation of KYC requirements and onboarding requirements
- Respond to questions regarding product specifications and onboarding procedure
- Conduct KYC process to onboard new client
- Collaborate with the client to complete KYC requirements and obtain internal KYC approval within MUFG
- Collect mandatory agreements and documentation from the client to open the account(s)
- Maintain client records i.e. signature cards, banking agreements
Ad-Hoc Projects and Product Support:
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for KYC and services
- Demonstrate leadership to lead and present minor projects to streamline and improve processes to minimize redundancy and improve client experience
- Support Product Managers with productrelated projects, improvements, and revisions.
- Provide feedback to appropriate Product Manager and stakeholders obtained from client and/or experience
- Develop materials and service guides in compliance with internal policies
- Participate in largescale projects and represent the department as appropriate
- Assist in documenting procedures and internal operating manuals
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Knowledge of Adobe Writer;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Poised in providing elevated customer service and adhering to bank policies
Experience Required:
- 23 years of related work experience in a customer service role in corporate/ commercial banking;
- Diligent work ethics;
- Strong attentiveness and multitasking capability;
- Highly organized to facilitating meeting multiple deadlines
Education & Training:
- Degree in finance or other business related fields
Work Environment:
- In the office or from home coming in office for meetings.
