Description
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to join our team.

As an
SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, and other digital channels.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and optimize PPC campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Test and monitor campaign performance, conduct keyword research, manage bidding, and track ROI.
  • Improve paid search performance using industry best practices within established revenue.
  • Manage multiple campaigns at any given time with a focus on achieving ROI goals.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
  • Track, record, and report SEM performance metrics on a regular basis.
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and generate reports to track key metrics, conversions, and user behavior. Use data insights to optimize campaigns, improve website performance, and enhance user experience.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging digital marketing strategies. Continuously improve knowledge and skills in PPC, SEO, CRO, and other digital marketing areas.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for incorporating new technologies to drive innovation and improve campaign performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising, or a related field, with focus on digital tools.
  • 23 years of PPC & SEO experience with proven knowledge of campaign setup, ad creation, keywords research.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with bid management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity running A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Proficiency in keyword research tools and techniques, ad copywriting, and campaign optimization strategies.
  • Solid understanding of PPC metrics, conversion tracking, and data analysis.
  • Google Ads / Microsoft Ads certified is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to travel to Toronto offices as well as work from home.
