Job Duties:
Guest Service Agent
- Check in/out guests in a professional manner.
- Review "special service" requests for arrivals.
- Answer inquiries either by telephone or "face to face" to provide current and accurate information to the guest.
- Process guest folios, collect payment and issue invoice upon payment.
- Process HVR gift cards.
- Write up all "wakeup" call requests on specified form and enter on switchboard.
- Operate switchboard, direct calls and give information and take messages.
- Count and balance cash float and handle daily transaction procedures.
- Assigning rooms and blocking to accommodate special services.
- Must have knowledge of the resort's facilities.
- Maintain files (daily paperwork), keys, gift shop items and other front desk supplies as required.
- Create and post inhouse amenities.
- Working knowledge of the safes used by wedding guests.
- Basic knowledge of reservations to create a "walk in" reservation.
Requirements:
Guest Service Agent
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Hospitality, diploma is an asset
- Previous hospitality experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends & holidays
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mono, ON L9W 5X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
