Description
Assists the Chef Manager in all aspects of food preparation- Providing excellent customer service with attention to detail and assisting customers with inquiries pertaining to menu items
- Responsible for setting up, cooking and cleaning of the breakfast and lunch station for service, with a close attention to stocking, sanitation and preparation of all menu items
- Set up, stock and handcraft beverages for the coffee and condiment station
- Performs daily cash transactions maintaining accurate cash balances
- Keeping up to date on all menu choices, specialties and menu deviations and be aware of quantity of stock in the kitchen
- Maintains customer dining room tables & chairs, microwaves, counters and coffee station.
- Ensures walkin refrigerator is organized, cleaned and sanitized and ordered kitchen product is stored away in adherence strictly to FIFO (First in First out) practices
- Ensures all leftover food is dated and stored properly as per the food safety guidelines
- Provides assistance to other stations as required
- Participates in cleaning all areas of food and beverage preparation as part of the closing duties
- Complies with maintenance guidelines for the restaurant and equipment's
- Assist with office board room catering (stage, deliver, set up and clean up) as required.
- Adhere to SHFG uniform, grooming and hygiene policies
- Communicate to Chef/Manager any problems with food quality, quantities, situations with clients and equipment
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Shows enthusiasm and motivation to complete job requirements in a timely manner.
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work in a highvolume kitchen environment to prepare large quantities of food

$16.75 per hour
