Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing various carpentry projects as well as general labour tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with hand tools.


Duties:


  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other finish carpentry items
  • Framing new walls and repairing older sections
  • General labour such as demo and site clean up

Required Skills:


  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other finish carpentry items
  • Repair or replace damaged or wornout carpentry items
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
  • Skilled in using hand tools for carpentry tasks
  • Class 5 or better driver's license

Asset Skills:

  • Proficient in painting and staining walls, trims, and other finish materials
  • Proficient in laying flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, or tile

Pay:
$23.00-$30.00 per hour


Expected hours:

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)


Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
