Position Summary

The Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program aims to increase access to publicly funded, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and related approaches for Ontarians with mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions (i.e.

obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety, health anxiety etc.). The program is delivered through regional psychotherapy networks as a coordinated provincial program.

Each network is comprised of several organizations, including: (1) One Network Lead Organization (NLO) who provides quality and administrative oversight and support for providers in their network to implement/operate OSP, and (2) multiple Service Delivery Sites (SDS) in communities across the region who provide protocol-based CBT treatment to clients, with fidelity to the program model.

Ontario Structured Psychotherapy West Region (OSP West) is jointly operated by St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and St. Joseph's Health Care London as one NLO.

The OSP CBT Therapist will deliver individual and group protocol-based structured psychotherapy to individuals experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions within their community and the Ontario West region.

The OSP CBT Therapist will participate in regular clinical consultation to ensure high quality service delivery and adherence to the OSP Clinical Model.

Reporting to the Manager of Specialized Services,
the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions:

Provide individual and group protocol-based structured psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT), in alignment with OSP provincial model to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions.
Actively incorporate antiracist, antioppressive practices and principles in the delivery of clientcentered, traumainformed care at all levels of service.
Work collaboratively with clients, family members, referral sources, community partners, and the OSP program's network in the provision of accessible, equitable and inclusive care (e.g. interpretation services, culturally appropriate and relevant care, incorporating antiracism and decolonizing approaches to care, considering social determinants of health and traumainformed approaches).
Contribute to ongoing program development and program evaluation and implement new practices as required.

Qualifications:

Education required:

Masters of Social Work Degree from an accredited university with current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers; or Masters of Counselling Degree currently registered with The College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario
Masters of Occupational Therapy and/or a Masters of Nursing in good standing with a college that is regulated to perform the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy in Ontario and who are regulated to practice the controlled act of Psychotherapy
Experience in the provision of mental health and/or addictions treatment (23 years preferred), including:
Experience utilizing evidence-based CBT treatment models with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and anxiety related conditions.
Documented evidence of formal CBT and CPT training with appropriate supervision/clinical consultation preferred. Additional training in cognitive processing therapy (CPT) preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and practiced skills in providing culturally safe and responsive mental health services to clients of diverse ethnoracial and cultural backgrounds is preferred.
Experience working in a communitybased or outpatient setting.
Fluency in French and/or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset
A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

Hours of Work:35 hours/week. Flexible hours are required to meet the position requirements

Salary:
Commensurate with experience within the range: $65,138-$79,251 inclusive of HOOPP
