    We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Power Division.

    Under the general supervision of a Team Leader or Manager, perform challenging and varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering.

    Participate in work planning required to achieve prescribed objectives.

    Perform Conceptual and/or detail engineering of Industrial Electrical systems including power systems, control systems and instrumentation.
    # Provide input to drafters for preparation of various engineering drawings, such as: General Arrangements, Instrument Loops, Wiring and Connection diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), etc.
    # Assist Leaders and Manager with definition and monitoring of work scopes, deliverables, schedules and budget.
    # Participate in walk-downs at the client's facilities.
    # Assist in providing responses to technical enquiries from clients, technical reviewers, and regulatory agencies.
    # Prepare purchase requisition, review technical content of supplier bids and technical submissions.
    # Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and design documentation in accordance with the Company QA programs and manuals.

    Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/ Electromechanical Engineering and PEO membership
    ~10 or more years of engineering experience in design, installation, maintenance, and operation of industrial electrical systems: conventional and state-of-the-art.
    ~ Proven experience (10 years) working as an Electrical Engineer in the industrial or mining sector.
    ~ The selected candidate will be proficient in creating specifications for MV and LV switchgears, switchboards, generators, motor starters and medium/low voltage equipment.
    ~ Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems and implementing effective solutions.
    ~ Experience with site construction support.
    ~ Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems in industrial or mining environments.
    ~ Well developed communication, planning, and work organization skills.
    ~ Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable and work under tight schedules in a fast pace environment.
