Staybridge Suites Hamilton - Downtown is looking for someone to bring their vibrance and energy to the role As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll assist with food and beverage operations to ensure superior service and standards whilst delivering a memorable guest experience.

You'll work with a team that promotes a positive and efficient team culture. You'll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the General manager, the Kitchen Attendant will provide customer service, guest satisfaction, and a quality work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide friendly, efficient service.
Prepare and arrange food that are attractive and appetizing to the guests
Inspect food being served.
Meet service standards.
Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.
Know what items are not available to guests.
Replace and rotate stock correctly.
Keep condiments stocked.
Full knowledge of served items and methods of preparation as needed.
Works within policy to accommodate guest's special requests.
Service and stocks items in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established

service standards.

To clean and clean tables as required using proper sanitation program.
To report any irregularities or comments from our guests to management.
To acknowledge and create a warm welcome to all guests
To consistently exceed guest expectations.
To ensure surrounding staff are working safely.
Product knowledge of food will be helpful.
Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment

are a must.

Be familiar with hotel services offered
Attend any training sessions or meetings (when asked)
Other duties may be assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma is preferred
Ability to work with food and hot dishes
Carries 'Food Safety Handling' card is a plus
Complete Health and Safety in four steps is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and be detailoriented
Professional and friendly with all guests. Ability to achieve guest satisfaction
Prior experience in Food and Beverage is an asset
