- Provide commercial and financial assurance and verification of costs on a range of projects in different sectors.
- Analysis and assessment of contractor's accounting and commercial systems and processes
- Prepare risk-based audit and verification plans.
- Detailed audit and analysis of a range of cost types
- Prepare high quality and robust outputs and working papers.
- Understanding and interpretation of different types of contractual frameworks
- Engagement with contractors, clients, regulatory bodies and other relevant stakeholders
- Preparation of clear and concise reports
- Development of forensic technology and analysis tools
- Support the Head of Cost Assurance and other senior staff within Gleeds.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit and cost assurance experience in a lead role, preferably on large infrastructure projects.
- Audit engagements of actual cost reimbursement contracting models for large infrastructure projects.
- Develop Audit Plans.
- Analysing financial data and performance of vendors.
- Preparing reports and projections based on the analysis.
- Proficiency using Oracle Enterprise business and financial management systems.
- Relevant certification is not a requirement but preferred,
- Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline OR; the combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
