Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, our Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning the hotel guest rooms per the established standards. The hours of work for this role are 9 am to 5 pm. This is a physically demanding, yet rewarding role also focused on providing exceptional guest service to hotel guests.


Responsibilities include:


  • Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the guest rooms including full kitchens, fireplaces, balconies, bathrooms.
  • Maintaining a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all guest requests.
  • Making beds, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Working on own or in teams as required.
  • Participating in deep cleaning of hotel guest rooms.
  • Assisting with cleaning of other hotel common areas as required.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Previous professional cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent observational skills.
  • The ability to adhere to safe work practices.
  • The ability to understand and communicate in written and spoken English.
  • Physical fitness and dexterity.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork.
