Production Worker - Plant 1

Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada.

Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for Production Workers
_ _for our Manufacturing Plant 1.

In this position, your responsibilities will include...

Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation
Perform all functions as designated by All Weather Windows instruction while operating specified equipment.
Follow all production procedures as instructed.
Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
Perform quality inspections as necessary.
Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to.
Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as safety guidelines.
Ensure all equipment is operated according equipment manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications include:

Good English communication or Intermediate level 5 of English is a minimum requirement.
Exposure to plant production dirt particles, noise levels & other loud machineries
Frequent to constant visual, hand/eye coordination demands
Physical dexterity & highly repetitive tasks
Physical bending, lifting, pushing, turning, and twisting up to 50lbs
Ability to stand, crouch, bend, reach, and stoop for long periods of times.
Heavy lifting required up to 50 pounds
Know to use a measuring tape
High attention to details & quality
Overtime as required
