Position:
AS-01 Full-time Indeterminate
All persons who have legal status to work in Canada. Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or work permit.
Work as part of the Human Resources team to provide multi-function human resources support services within the Riding Mountain Field Unit including:
# Processing administrative human resources actions
# Preparing correspondence and managing generic email accounts
# Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and preservation of Canada's outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.
5 hours northwest of Winnipeg, and protects 3,000 square kilometers of wilderness and is home to a staggering diversity of living things.
This process will be used to staff one indeterminate (permanent) full-time position on-location in Riding Mountain National Park.A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience in a field relevant to the position being staffed.
Experience providing administrative support services in an office environment; Experience in using software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
English essentialKnowledge of administrative procedures and practices.
Ability to review, analyze, and synthesize information and data; Ability to use computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
A post-secondary school degree and/or diploma and/or certificate in a field relevant to the position being staffed.Experience or training in providing human resources support services; Knowledge of legislation, policies trends and practices in Human Resources.
Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 driver's license; Willingness to work overtime on occasion, possibly on short notice.
