Desjardins Capital Markets ("DCM") combines the focus of a boutique investment bank with the capabilities of a large, integrated financial institution.
DCM's integrated capital markets team operates out of Toronto, Montréal, Calgary and Vancouver and delivers tailored financial solutions to corporations, institutions and government agencies across Canada.

Analysts are an integral part of Desjardins' Investment Banking Group and are expected to provide a broad range of analytical, research and presentation preparation support to professionals within the group.
They are assigned to a variety of mandates such as:mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, strategic advisory / alternatives projects and full capital structure solution projects.
A team approach to executing coverage and financing assignments is designed to provide progressive on the job training.The role of an analyst is challenging and fast-paced. It requires dedication, passion for the industry and a very solid work ethic.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities- Support in the execution of all facets of a mandate- Financial modeling, mainly focusing on valuation work through comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and other metrics as appropriate- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and industry research- Assistance in the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings- Must be able to accept flexibility in required personal time commitments to complete work assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering or other related fields
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, i
- Experience in investment banking (an asset)
