Fulltime Salaried - $40,000 to $50,000

  • Big League Food Company is seeking an
    Coffee Equipment Repair Technician to join our
    Detour Coffee team. If you are a proactive individual with experience in coffee machine maintenance, we invite you to be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for maintenance, service and repair of espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee related equipment in our stores.
  • Keep machines functional and operational through continued basic maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on coffee machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting, programming, and installation on the current machines
  • Identify faulty components and replace them with new parts.
  • Other duties as may be required and assigned by manager
  • Install, test and maintain water filtration systems
  • Manage parts inventory as required
  • Read equipment diagrams and electrical schematics

Must Haves

  • Valid Gclass Drivers License and be comfortable driving in the Toronto region
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of the machinery used in the industry
  • Physical ability for lifting machinery.
  • Able to work well independently
  • Strong problem solving skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interest in coffee and coffee machines.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of tools.

Compensation
