How You'll Make an Impact

  • Establish and ensure processes to a) analyze and monitor fulfillment of contractual and committed requirements b) management of professional feedback to and from the customer, c) manage complaints.
  • Performs proactive and meaningful analyses of data and project risk situations to guide decisions. Tracks and drives discussions to ensure project risk assessments and mitigations are effectively implemented.
  • Perform business analysis activities for quality matters for Canadian and North American operations and create presentations to show current and futures state of business.
  • Perform document Management activities that includes developing new procedures or revising existing procedures and work instructions for compliance with the QMS while finding opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure execution of project quality plan and quality gate process through active involvement in project reviews and participation in quality gate meetings.
  • Assesses nonconformance cost (NCC) events and provides analysis for organizational improvement guidance.
  • Arrange, perform, and implement quality related customer requirements such as, Customer witness points, Quality Document preparation and quality focused customer presentations. Support Project Managers and other stake holders with understanding and guiding customer expectations on quality focus and activities.
  • Facilitates resolution of nonconformance events and fosters organizational prevention mindset.
  • Support the audits and assessments program to ISO and CSA N299 Management Systems standards.
  • Facilitate and track focused quality objectives relating to key contract deliverables and utilize these to drive continuous improvement.
  • Travel up to 50% for supporting outages at customer sites, with duration ranging from weeks. Depending on Business needs, the travel time can go up by few more weeks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in an Engineering discipline, Business, or related field.
  • 3 or more years of combined experience in one or more of the following manufacturing, field service, project management, Quality Assurance, or customer service.
  • Proficient communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to develop thoughtful communication plans, employing multiple channels, or indirect approaches, such as influencing others, to align groups or organizations.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills with emphasis on proven use of RCA tools. Ability to drive collaboration to produce effective results.
  • Professional knowledge and experience related to International Standards ISO 9001 & CSA N29
  • High level of proficiency with I.T. systems and data analytics and MSOffice. Must be organized, selfmotivated, and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience working with Heavy Engineering Projects or EPCs will be an asset.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
