About the Job


Here at Vendasta, we like to take care of our employees In order to do so, we are seeking a Food Operations Manager to keep our team well-fed, healthy, and happy This position will entail running Vendasta's food services—from guiding team members, ordering & auditing, overseeing & maintaining the cleanliness of all aspects of Food Operations, preparing & and stocking food items, and assisting in hot/cold food preparation.

The impact you'll have

  • Oversee Vendasta's Food Operations team and initiatives
  • Complete weekly ordering & auditing of food & food supplies
  • Assist in executing food preparation for each day's menu, as well as preparation and delivery of food stock items
  • Maintain sanitation & temperature records in all areas of Food Operations
  • Assist with events held at Vendasta including internal Lunch and Learns, Ideas on Tap, and other events as needed

The value you'll bring

  • 4+ years experience in food preparation; preference given to those in a commercial setting
  • 2 years experience in leadership capacity
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Exemplary organization and planning skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities and selfmotivation
  • Ability to prioritize, remain calm, and multitask under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility in shift start and end times is considered an asset
