Your opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Director, Undergraduate Programs and Student Experience, the program administrator is responsible for supporting the coordination and operation of Munk's undergraduate programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for programrelated enquiries
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies anddeadlines
- Coordinating the preparation and distribution of program and/or course material
- Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming
- Developing content for marketing and/or promotional materials
- Implementing plans and process improvements for program activities
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years recent and relevant experience in program administration, providing information to students and coordinating student placement in an university undergraduate office
- Experience on providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures and policies to students
- Experience in organizing events for student workintegrated learning activities
- Experience in coordinating international student internships, including analyzing potential placement opportunity to determine suitability
- Knowledge of and experience working with Munk School's programs and student populations
- Demonstrated knowledge on the availability and sources of student awards, scholarships, and fellowships and other related financial aid packages
- Demonstrated experience with writing and editing promotional material.
- Experience in liaising with industry and business partners to develop placement opportunity
- Solid skills with ROSI or other related student database system
- Strong workingknowledge in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong familiarity with, knowledge of, and experience using new media including social networking tools.
