Responsibilities:


  • Perform abatement activities to remove hazardous materials from buildings and structures
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Safely use appropriate tools and equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for abatement
  • Transport and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Experience:


  • Previous experience in abatement or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to abatement work

Requirements:


  • Asbestos Removal and Abatement Certification _
    is mandatory_
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Willing and able to perform other restoration/remediation tasks and to become certified in other disciplines

Salary:
$23.00-$28.00 per hour
