Digital Summer Assistant - Toronto, Canada - York University
Description
Purpose:
This position provides a wide range of digital support and circulations services to the patrons in the Markham Library in person, by telephone and via library's on-line system.
Education:
Enrolled in an information technology, computer science, humanities, social sciences, or fine arts related program.
Experience:
Some experience working with audio and video recording equipment and media editing software (including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Audacity, and OpenShot) for the purposes of media creation and manipulation.
Skills:
Ability to deal calmly and courteously with the public and with difficult patrons. Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to provide accurate information.
Additional Notes:
Ability to move materials and/or equipment up to 20lbs.
