Position Highlights

ICBC has a challenging and fulfilling opportunity to become a Manager, Financial Consulting Services. You will provide expertise

and support for financial planning and forecasting, reporting, expense optimization, consolidation and analysis. This role will

also have oversight on the preparation of certain aspects of the annual BC Utilities Commission (BCUC) rate regulatory filing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing and managing ICBC's annual planning process, longrange financial planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Identifying, promoting and initiating opportunities to enhance or improve financial operating expense reporting processes
  • Leading a finance team, which includes development, performance management, mentorship and training
  • Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the analysis performed by the team and alignment to broader initiatives
Position Requirements

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience and proficiency with the tools of financial management, financial planning, budgeting, financial forecasting and
modeling

  • 5 or more years of progressive experience working in finance with demonstrated financial planning experience, managing
teams and supporting executive decisions within a large, complex environments

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and customer service excellence
  • Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive, balanced with strong business acumen and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively along vertical and horizontal planes. The ability to develop
good working relationships is critical.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience leading teams, including performance management and coaching, motivation of
employees and leadership development
