Gateway Group is searching for a skilled Painter to join our dynamic team of renovation experts.

As a Painter, you'll play a key role in enhancing the visual appeal and ambiance of our clients' spaces through your artistic touch and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming, to ensure a smooth and durable finish.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to select appropriate colours, textures, and finishes to match the desired aesthetic.
  • Ensure precise and even coverage, paying attention to intricate details and corners.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and industry standards.
  • Inspect completed painting work for quality and accuracy, making any necessary touchups.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in professional painting, with a portfolio showcasing your versatility and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using various painting techniques and tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
  • Strong understanding of colour theory and the ability to provide creative input in selecting paint colours and finishes.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Focus on safety practices and adherence to industry standards.
  • Reliable transportation.

Salary:
$15.50-$28.88 per hour
