Join our team We are currently recruiting for an Day and Night Shift Production
Injecton Moulding Technician for a permanent role.
If you are selected, you must be eligible to obtain a controlled goods clearance.
- Pay rate will vary with experience
- 7:45AM to 4:00PM Monday to Friday
- 11:45PM to 8:00AM Monday to Friday
The
Injecton Moulding Technician
will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform mould set up activities for Production, per established expectations
- Perform mould trials for new / modified parts
- Communicate production status during Shift Handovers to ensure continuity and stable quality outputs across all shifts
- Complete all associated documentation, including overhead crane safety checks; relevant Work Order sections; the 1st Off log; Set-Up sheets; workplace audits and record all process changes on the Lot Traveler
- Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving machine, mould, and process issues and document properly
- Monitor and maintain mould storage areas, using the designated mould positions
- Verify plastic material has been prepared correctly by the Material Handler, using material supplier guidelines for drying temperature, time, and by conducting plastic material moisture checks
- Monitor and maintain setup related carts; associated tools/fittings/nozzle tips and the setup equipment storage areas
- Ensure secondary operations (printing; hot foil; drill presses; fixtures; etc.) are present and setup to run
- Conduct regular checks throughout shift, including cycle times; nozzle leaks and related equipment process equipment
- Be proactive in improving your own level of injection moulding and OMC specific product knowledge
Requirements:

Atleast 5 months to 1 year of experience in Injection Moulding:
- Availability to work from Monday to Friday
- Written, Oral, and Spoken communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and data reporting skill
- Mechanically inclined
- Troubleshooting
- Some knowledge of modern manufacturing principles and injection moulding best practices

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
