Job Description:
The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for assisting in the direct managerial oversight of the Maintenance team.
- Act as a training and quality control resource to ensure proper workflow for all rehab, turn, and maintenance resources
- Quality control inspection of all field work performed by inhouse maintenance technicians
- Manage all vendors to ensure available quality vendors for Rehab/ Turn/and Maintenance processes
- Provide a scope validation check for larger, more indepth renovation projects
- Assist with the implementation of corporate processes, training, and enforcement of policy
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Razor Sync or other project management software
- Takes ownership of work product and ensures delivery within tight deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Office with a focus on Excel
- Prior Property Management experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to use mobile devices
- Basic accounting and math skills
- Knowledge of Yardi preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be OK with parking in a parking garage near property or taking public transit as there is no parking at the property
- High school diploma, BA preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Basic financial acumen
- Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Strong project management and coordination skills
