The University of Lethbridge is looking for a skilled professional to join the Financial Services team. This full-time role, reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Finance), seeks an Internal Control Analyst responsible for identifying, assessing, and overseeing financial internal controls. The analyst will ensure compliance with regulations and University policies, specialize in analyzing financial processes, testing, and implementing best practices.
Key responsibilities:
The University of Lethbridge is conducting a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) roles, potentially adjusting the salary range for this position. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, Chartered Professional Accountant designation, and a minimum of five years' experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in enterprise information systems, MS Office, and relevant software, with asset-oriented experience in post-secondary institutions and data analytics.
The candidate should have strong communication, technical, and analytical skills, knowledge of financial metrics, performance indicators, and business process improvements. Familiarity with process mapping and a clean Criminal Record Check are required.
