Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Monday-Friday


How will you make an impact?
Handle product throughout picking, checking, packing, conveyor, and put-away using RF technology and PCs in a warehouse environment.


What will you do:


  • Operate material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner within a warehouse that stocks hazardous products.
  • Operate remote frequency devices and or computer workstations efficiently in order to update warehouse management and transportation management systems.
  • Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, ship orders, and work on conveyor.
  • Follow the company processes, policies and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, WHMIS, and Asbestos.
  • Assist, when required, in cycle counting or physical inventory (should a physical inventory be called by corporate).
  • Work efficiently in a team oriented environment.
  • Assists in special projects or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or DC manager.

How will you get here:


Education

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 1 year of General warehouse or related experience
  • Able to lift and lower goods up to 50 lbs. to or from waist level
  • Certified/Licensed equipment operator required (fork lift, order picking truck, reach truck).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, willing to learn and able to work independently
  • Flexible with hours of work and with assignment of tasks as rotation.
