We are looking for a motivated maintenance technician to join our team and be responsible for the general maintenance of all equipment and our facility during the evening shift, in our production area.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will:

Set-up and operate process equipment within the SOP scope.
Large range of activities relating to electrical & mechanical controls.
Automation controls adjustments and settings.
Troubleshoot functional problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Change defective or wornout parts (motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts).
Conduct routine inspections on equipment and perform preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the operational specifications of the equipment.
Install and put in function machines and equipment.
Follow all company GMP.
Assist the Production Manager with managing the shift and team.
Comply with all PPE and Health & Safety requirements.
Complete necessary paperwork related to the job.
Communicate with the larger team regarding all maintenance and repairs.
Assist with the bottling line changeovers in accordance with the production schedule.
All other duties as required.

What will make you successful:

Postsecondary education related to machinery maintenance and repair.
3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance of high speed bottling beverage lines.
Experience working is bottling glass is desirable but not essential.
Ability to properly use tools and machinery while following relevant policies.
An understanding of CIP is desirable.
Ability to maintain a working relationship with coworkers and subordinates.
Available for shift work.
Able to read, write and communicate in English, with comprehension.
Disciplined and reliable.

More about this role

Work schedule
Monday to Friday 4pm to 12.30am with variance.
Full time hours with the possibility of overtime.
Permanent position following the completion of a probationary period.
Training period of up to 6 weeks to take place during the daytime shift.
Required to be in a standing position for the full shift breaks provided per the legal guidelines.
You may engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
You must be able to lift up to 30kg.
Exposure to variations in temperature or humidity may occur.
Must be able to commute daily to our facility in East York.
