Job Summary:


The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to establish and maintain quality systems to ensure the company's facilities, equipment, methods, processes and procedures conform to both internal guidelines, customer requirements and regulatory standards.


Duties and Responsibilities:


The Quality Assurance Manager will provide overall QA guidance, training, evaluation and support to operational teams to maximize operational efficiencies.


  • Maintain company's Quality System accreditations/audits.
  • Train and evaluate others on QA procedures and inspection processes as required.
  • Identify problems, deficiencies and recommend process improvement solutions for implementation of all our programs.
  • Report all malfunctions to facility managers and upper management and proactively advise and follow up on resolution/take immediate action for corrective measures.
  • Keep accurate up to date records and documentation of all processes and procedures in the buildings/facilities in accordance with our Quality Programs and guidelines.
  • Be present and communicate with external quality assurance officers during onsite inspections of our facilities.
  • Perform visual inspections of all facilities and equipment, recording quality issues and planning process to decrease defects/waste therein.
  • Report on continuous improvement solutions and cost reduction ideas for both our firm and our client.
  • Identify workplace safety hazards and develop ideas and solutions to correct promptly any deficiencies within our programs.
  • Perform assigned projects and written reports to upper management promptly as requested.
  • This position is not limited to the above and can be modified and expanded as required.

Qualifications:


  • Education in Quality Management
  • Proven experience as Quality Manager and ISO implentation and audit experience
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Working knowledge of quality system requirements
  • Selfmotivated with strong leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proactive and strong organizational skills
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of data analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards
