Fulltime, yearround employment in Edmonton
Familyfriendly hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

MUST HAVE:

4+ years of experience in residential renovations and/or new home construction.
Ideal for someone who _may or may not_ have a journeyperson carpenter ticket, but has experience that is equivalent.
Basic carpentry tools.
Valid driver's license and own transportation.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Reading plans, following instructions and asking questions to ensure the scope of work is achieved.
Identify building materials, tools, machinery and supplies required for the job and ensure timely distribution to the appropriate location(s) to avoid project delays and unnecessary trips.
Demolition and framing
Finishing carpentry
Drywall, patch, paint and tile work
Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
Work with subtrades to complete projects.
Keep a daily log of tasks using Buildertrend construction software.
Practice good housekeeping discipline on the job, which includes daily cleanup, organized tool and material storage and weekly trash removal, to ensure a safe, noncluttered workplace.
