Position Information:

Calling all Speech Language Pathologists

Temporary until approximately April 12, 2025.

Basic Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent;
Certificate of Registration from CASLPO (or eligible for registration);
Two years clinical experience;
Experience with assessment and treatment of adult dysphagia and acquired communication disorders;
Ability to provide counseling to patients, families, and other health care professionals;
Superior judgment, initiative, and problem solving skills;
Superior interpersonal skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting;
Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

Member of SAC;
Experience working in an adult acute care hospital;
Experience with the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI);
Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
