The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, picking and packing, loading and unloading trucks, as well as pipe cutting.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Process shipping and receiving orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Load and unload trucks, utilizing appropriate equipment and following established procedures to prevent damage to goods.
  • Perform pipe cutting using specialized tools and equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in measurements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and participating in periodic inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of products within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Assist customers when required.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse.
  • Assist in the resolution of any shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies, communicating with relevant parties to resolve issues promptly.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hardware/

Equipment Experience:
Experience using manual material handling equipment is an asset (e.g., hand trucks/pump trucks/dollies)

  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with plumbing parts and materials is an asset
  • Able to be highly efficient and to pay attention to detail
  • Experience suggesting and implementing changes to processes and procedure
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety regulations.
Nice to Have

  • Experience as a forklift operator is an asset but not a fulltime requirement
