Our Infectious Disease & Specialty Medicine business unit is highly dedicated to collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase disease awareness of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) in the community.

A Key Account Manager, Rare Disease is a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to key customer accounts.

The Key Account Manager is responsible for partnering with key accounts (such as Centers of Excellence, referral bases and physician associations etc.) to enhance awareness of this rare disease, the patient journey and the treatment landscape in alignment with our company Canada's Rare Disease Market Access and Policy Objectives.


The Key Account Manager reports to our Executive Director, Infectious Disease & Specialty Medicines, and works closely with colleagues from other functions: Marketing, Access, Policy, Patient Support Services, Legal & Compliance and more.

Key Responsibilities:

In close collaboration with the Market Access, Patient Support Services and Policy Teams the Key Account Manager will:
Build strong partnership and long-term engagement with key accounts, through the co-creation of business solutions

Identify unmet and/or evolving customer needs through in-depth market and thorough understanding of the key account needs and goals

Develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the key account

Monitor customer account plans through clear measures of success, and track projects based on metrics and Key Performance Indicators to deliver on our Company's and key account's goals

Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities within key accounts, whilst ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies

Identify new and innovative solutions to address customer needs and challenges as well as creative ways to deliver value to customers

Leverage data analytics and business insights to identify new opportunities and drive business growth

Incorporate learnings to reshape the key accounts strategy and customers plans


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business (Sales/Marketing) or equivalent

Previous experience in Key Account Management/Supplier Management

Knowledge and prior experience in rare diseases considered an asset

Notre unité fonctionnelle Maladies infectieuses et médecine spécialisée se consacre fortement à la collaboration avec les intervenants internes et externes afin d'accroître la sensibilisation à l'hypertension artérielle pulmonaire (HTAP) au sein de la communauté.


Le Chef, Comptes majeurs, Maladie rare est un conseiller de confiance et un point de contact principal pour les comptes clients majeurs.

Le Chef comptes majeurs est responsable de l'établissement de partenariats avec des comptes majeurs (tels que les centres d'excellence, les bases de référence et les associations de médecins, etc.) pour accroître la sensibilisation à cette maladie rare, au parcours du patient et au paysage thérapeutique, conformément aux objectifs de notre compagnie au Canada en matière d'accès au marché et de politiques sur les maladies rares.


Le Chef compte majeurs relève de notre Directeur exécutif, Maladies infectieuses et médicaments spécialisés, et travaille en étroite collaboration avec des collègues d'autres fonctions : Commercialisation, accès, politique, services de soutien aux patients, services juridiques et conformité et plus encore.
