- Ability to deliver culturally sensitive services to the Indigenous populations of Southern Vancouver Island.
- Possess a valid BC Driver's License.

Description
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience
Graduation from a recognized nursing program. Current Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
A minimum of three years' recent related experience including experience in the care of diabetes and group teaching, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience and proven track record of working with Indigenous peoples and communities with a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous health approaches, protocols and cultural issues. Demonstrated knowledge in the current theories, technologies and practices in the control of diabetes mellitus. Knowledge of Adult Education learning principles.
Indigenous ancestry preferred.
