Description

What you'll do:

Assist with promoting and monitoring sustainable transportation options for TD Place and Lansdowne;
Work with internal and external stake holders to provide timely and appropriate transportation options for events including shuttle logistics quantity, timing, and routes;
Ensure comprehensive and consistent transportation planning and messaging for all events at TD Place and Lansdowne;
Investigate traffic issues and recommend methods to improve traffic flow and safety;
Assist with onsite parking garage reviews including enhancements and safety concerns;
Coordinate and track staff parking assignments for events;
Obtain and coordinate event permits when required for road use;
Act as the event transportation point of contact when assigned through rotation;
Complete event day site preparations and checks;
Assist with onboarding, training, and traffic safety team performance reviews;
Correspond with parttime event staff on payroll, scheduling, and general inquiries
Other duties as assigned.

What's needed:

Completion of High school diploma or equivalent;
Experience leading part time staff;
12 years of experience in customer service environment;
Experience working in an office environment;
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written);
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail ;
Demonstrate qualities in problem solving, flexibility and ability to work well with and coordinate the work of others;
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
Able to work well under pressure, maintain a strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (based on event calendar);
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, able to walk long distances and climb stairs;
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
